Where Tradition Meets Comfort

My wife, Elisa, and I started En Route Designs with one goal:

To help children feel genuinely proud of their South Asian heritage. We believe cultural clothing shouldn't feel foreign or unfamiliar. It should feel like home. Comfortable, beautiful, and entirely theirs.

Made For Belonging. Made For Play.

I moved from India to Texas at age 9, caught between two cultures and unsure how to carry both with confidence. I don't want another child to feel the social insecurities and personal challenges that came with that. Clothing is a part of our identity. As parents, we have a chance to shape how the next generation sees themselves.

Our Promise to Parents (and Kids)

We understand that traditional South Asian clothing, with its heavy fabrics and complex layers, can be uncomfortable for children. That's why our designs blend the elegance of cultural attire with soft, breathable, flexible clothing that children will love to wear for everyday moments and special occasions.

At En Route Designs, we're not just making clothes, we are helping families create better memorable experiences.

Whether it's a festival, a family gathering, or simply the joy of everyday life, our vision is to make cultural wear that is versatile and comfortable for all children.

Our hope is that the Kurta Footie is just the beginning. A launching pad for a full line of Kurta and cultural clothing made for the next generation. Thank you for your time!
